First, I hurt my thumb. It’s just sprained, but I actually think that it’s broken :/ Next, I went to the zoo today! They have some new things. They have these rabbit/kangaroo/donkey/wallaby things, they cockatoos who were yelling at me, and this animal called a Tayra, which is a ferret thingy. Thanks for 20,000 views, guys! I really appriciate it! I’ll now list my only least-favorite animals.

  • Fleas
  • Lice
  • Ticks
  • All parasites

Thats it! I like ALL animals except those. OK, take it easy.

Hey, Umph. So, you have Diabetes too? Do you have an insulin pump? Do you take shots?

2. umphulump55 - May 23, 2009

I have considered the pump many times, but im like, so scared to try it!

3. michf98 - May 23, 2009

Don’t be scared. I have one. The one I have isn’t exsistent anymore. You see, there is this little insertion set you press up against where you want it. The one I use is called a Cleo. Maybe I shouldn’t tell you about the non-excistent one :/ Anyway, there is another one called the Mini-Med. My friend and aunt have it. It’s very simple. The only thing I wouldn’t be comfortable with ( I don’t know if you’d be uncomfortable too ) is the insertion set. You can see a needle sticking out. The Cleo doesn’t show the needle, and its hurts less. You can also get a Pod. But, before changing ( that is, if you want to change ) you should tell you Diabetes specialist, or your doctor, or whoever handles your Diabetes. Any questions? How long have you had Diabetes?

4. umphulump55 - May 23, 2009

I’ve had it since I was 15 months old, so about 9 years 🙂 I go to camp, so I know how the pump functions, and how you insert the site thing anywhere. My friend recommended the mini-med, but I still am a little curious about it lol. I want to get one after camp, though!
